Summary: Excellent antenna for Digital TV
Comment: I live in Santa Barbara, and the 91XG in my attic gets me solid reception on numerous digital stations from Los Angeles, 94 miles away. This is really pushing the limits of any antenna, and results at such a distance depend on terrain, weather, etc. I use with it an Antennas Direct PA-18 preamp and a cheap Radio Shack FM trap (discontinued but available on ebay), each of which adds about 10% signal strength.
I initially tried an Antennas Direct Clearstream 4, which got intermittent reception from a few LA stations depending on the weather. Now I realize that the Clearstream4 is a good antenna for its size, but 94 miles was just asking too much of it.
Note that very powerful antennas like the 91XG are highly directional, meaning they must be carefully pointed at the transmitters. Expect some trial and error to get the best reception.

Summary: Long rang 91xg antenna
Comment: Great antenna for being 65 miles from transmission in St. Louis, MO. We live in a valley and we tilt this antenna and we get all stations except one that has a very low tower transmission. We expected that we would not receive this station until tv station improve their tower. The product was package great and was received on time. We put up this antenna with a channel master 7777 amp. GREAT PRODUCT!!

Summary: Very Happe with the result
Comment: This is a good antenna. I bought it just for the purpose of receiving Digital tv. I am in west Los Angeles where every one I know are connected to either cable or satellite because antennas just can not get all net work channels clear. Cables and Dish are too expensive and feed you too much of undesirable channels so I decide to try this powerful antenna and see if digital tv really can work over here. Did some research and here I come have all net work channels free and clear into my analog tv with a sat top box. I am happy with this product. Call Antenna Direct if you don't know which antenna is good for your area.

Comment: I bought This Antenna Hoping I could Get the Digital Stations aprox. 50 Miles Away...I am in kinda of a hole...It works Great and was first time aiming it..I want it done before the Feb deadline for TV..mounted it aprox 4 feet off roof top....I get channels I never knew was there...So If the Antenna holds up to a little wind and the outside I will be happy

Summary: An Exceptional Antenna for Fringe to Deep Fringe
Comment: This is one of the best antennas around for deep fringe viewing when all the stations are in the same direction. I live in the mountains about 90 miles from the transmitter towers. I've tried other antennas and could barely get any signal but this one gives me a good to excellent picture on all available UHF analog and digital signals. I do have a preamp installed on the mast with the antenna. For those giving this a poor or very poor rating and saying they live 20-40 miles from the station it is because it has too much gain for their location. They are over driving the input to their television. As an old Air Force radio technician I highly recommend this antenna if you live in fringe to deep fringe areas.

This high performance UHF antenna has a higher gain and a smaller beam angle than conventional yagi antennas. The reflector grids create an improved front to back ratio with shorter construction while the 91 elements truly make it one of the highest gain UHF antennas available.Although the 91XG is one of the highest gain UHF antennas made, it is also very directional. If you live more than 60 miles from the transmitters, you must get as much elevation on the antenna as possible. Even with its great gain, it cannot pick up signals blocked by the curvature of the earth.
