Summary: Excellent Speakers
Comment: Great speakers for the money! Provide very clear and good overall audio quality. A little lacking in the lower mid-range, but a subwoofer will make up for that.
I paired these with an Infinity PS12 Subwoofer and they haven't let me down.
The other review by Matthew Smith "IBI", noted the lacked mid-range. Well if you did your research which you definitely didn't you would notice the frequency response for these is:

100Hz - 20kHz (±3dB)
With the frequency response dropped off at 100Hz, that pretty much requires a subwoofer to bring up the lower frequencies. These were meant to be part of a 5.1 system.

Summary: decent speakers
Comment: I bought these to replace the very large speakers for my 5 channel pro-logic system, and still ended up using the large speakers in speaker B parallel port to handle low mids and bass. Luckily I was able to conceal the large speakers behind my large TV. The rear and center speakers are superior to my previous set, but these five speakers are not very good by themselves. If you have a 5.1 channel system, then do yourself a favor and buy this set, along with the sub-woofer of your choice. You'll be a lot happier, and you won't have to hook up 7 speakers in order to get quality 5 channel surround.
