Comment: Works as advertised, I used 2 of these with a coupler from the same company and seller to replace a 8 ft. monster cable that costs as much as 3 of these. I've always thought Monster cables were a rip off and that if anything the optical cables might be worth the extra cash but these work without any problems.

Summary: It worked - for a while
Comment: The cable was really cheap, but in the end it stopped working after a couple of weeks. I guess you really do get what you pay for. I bought another cable with metal connectors for $10 more and it is much better. Optical needs better connector alignment than you can get with plastic, at least on long (20'+) cables, I guess.
A buddy of mine told me the internal light conductor can slip within the jacket after the cable gets unrolled and relaxes for a while, then the connector alignment gets messed up. Seems plausible, but I just threw out the cable rather than try to figure it out.

Summary: Good cable, great price.
Comment: Hooked the audio from my PC into my Technics home surround sound amp!!! It works great!!! Other manufacturers seemed way over priced, but after seeing the difference in price here I was a little afraid that the cable would be junk. It is far from junk, it is a good product! I will be looking into Total Signal from now on before I buy any cables.
Also, they shipped so fast that the cables arived before Amazon notified me of the rest of my order being shipped!!!
