Comment: Like the Belkin HDMI cables that we have purchased this item met and exceeded all expectations. The sound quality through our subwoofer is great.

Summary: Need powerful signal
Comment: This cable will significantly attenuate the signal due to its length. If you have a low signal output, you will receive nothing at the subwoofer unless you boost the volume. I tried to use the cable for a regular audio output (digital audio from PC to amplifier) and the signal will not go through. So it is likely to not work with anything else than a subwoofer.

Comment: Just like other reviewers, don't believe the marketing hype created by Monster. The cable made by Belkin is just as good if not better than "the other guys" without the inflated price. I bought this as an upgrade to setting up my powered subwoofer using the speaker wire inputs and would highly recommend this cable to anyone with a powered subwoofer.
