Other optical cables are more expensive, have the same function, and do not include mini toslink adapters. This product includes two! I am currently connecting my MacBook Pro and z-5500 and am receiving a crisp digital sound. Quality seems fine, will update if this thing decides to break in the next few days or weeks.
