This product offers a superb response letting my subwoofer perform at its best (the way it is supposed to). I do not perceived a signal lost and certainly don't have any distorsion at all. My subwoofer is located at about 7 feet from my Yamaha receiver and in spite of the distance it delivers the tight bass and crisp sound so distinctive of Boston Acoustics subwoofers.
